That is so incomprehensible to us, we can’t understand it, and so we’re attracted to it. So I wasn’t reading textbooks about mental disease, I was imagining how it was to be Satan.” (x)
Big flashy things have my name written all over them. Well… not yet, give me time and a crayon.
This is what always happens. Forget your faith in me. I took you with me because I was vain. Because I wanted to be adored. Look at you, glorious Pond. The Girl Who Waited for me. I'm not a hero. I really am just a madman in a box. And it's time we saw each other as we really are.

The Chosen One by Carol Lynch Williams
This was an odd one. My feelings towards this book are mixed. On one hand I thought it was an extremely enthralling and interesting read. But on the other hand it was so rushed and short I wanted more character development ahh!
Seriously it felt like the author didn’t have enough time to finish this book that she just threw everything together as a rough draft and then sent it off to the publishers.
I gave this book 3/5 stars on goodreads
